Introduction
No one wanted the Q, so I decided we should do exercises no one (or just me) likes to do.
Warm-O-Rama
– Mosey to lower parking lot
– Abe Vigoda (had to look up spelling! I’ve been saying it wrong my whole life)
– Hamstring stretch
– baby arm circles (forward and back)
– Arm Pretzels
– Slow Weed Pickers
– Mosey to flag
The Thang
YHC wondered if box jumps would be doable on our low wall. He also dislikes wall sits, burpees, one tree hill, and planks. YHC quickly threw together a collection of his least favorite exercises. Pacing and rep count were in question and lessons were learned for future Q’s. YHC asks patience and understanding while he learns to lead the Pax. On to it…
Pax collected KB’s and mosey’d to the low wall area.
2 rounds:
– 10 box jumps on the low wall
– 10 burpees
– 10 KB swings
– Wall sits while waiting on the 6
Mosey to flag with KB’s
2 rounds:
– 10 kneeling KB shoulder press (10 each arm)
– 15 BBSU
– 20 air squats
– Hold low plank until 6 is in. Turned in to an impromptu Mary session as low plank time became excessive
Mosey to One Tree Hill
– 5 burpees
– run up the hill
– 5 burpees
– run down the hill
Pax rinsed and repeated for 5-7 rounds until 6:05
Pax then did BBSU while YHC began story time.
Circle of Trust
Thoughts, prayers, and discussion was brought regarding the current protest situation. YHC offered thanks for this group and the positive impact F3 has had on YHC’s life. YHC asked the Lord to help us expand and grow and share the benefits of our F3 family with others.

The critical points here are simple:
1) There is reality and then there is MY reality. My personal perception of the events (through the filter of my own eyes, ears, and mental chatter) is what I believe as “reality”. My “reality” may or may not match someone else’s perception of the same events. My “reality” may not actually be what was intended or what really took place. The true events that took place have been colored, processed, and warped by my own experiences, views, and perspective. Like with the traffic jam example in the video – I may be missing key information.
2) I cannot control my surroundings. I cannot control what happens to me. I CAN control how I respond to it. I can CHOOSE the mental model with which I examine my surroundings. Emotions are a choice and we should control our emotions rather than let them control us.
