The Thang
This workout was a series of 9 exercises or mini routines, hence “the whole 9”
We featured the top 14 body weight exercises according to Men’s Health magazine. “Guaranteed to get you ripped” LOL
5-Pull ups while partner does chicken peckers (twice)
10-4×4’s (burpee with 4 merkins and 4 Mt climbers in plank position)
15-standing broad jump
20- flute bridge (each leg)
25-dips
30-pistol squats
35-BBSU
40-Peter Parkers (not a Mt climber, knees must come to the side and touch elbow)
45- V Sits
The wild card today was that Flower by Moby played (when I was in my sit ups) and so we of course had to stop and do Sally Up with squats and then resume our workout when the song was over. QT mentioned it would be good to incorporate that surprise Sally Up into other workouts
Circle of Trust
We talked about the idea of motivation and what is it that compels us to do things we do not want to do. Interesting discussion
We also touched on the importance of form as it pertains to safety and injury prevention
Prayers were lifted for Spooner for his mental state and for Mr Pink and his M as they head to Jackson Hole for the big 10 year anniversary. Praise from QT for being celebrated on Saturday
Naked Man Moleskin
Not sure if it’s redundant to say this because you have already read that QT was present and accounted for, but he cleared the corridor with some chili fueled extra ripe methane gas. It wouldn’t be a Grove BD without some sputtering and coughing and gasping for air. Another thing on my mind is figuring out the best place at the grove to do group pulling exercises. Need some better options than the very light duty aluminum structure that I am pretty sure we almost broke
