Introduction
This is the 3rd race in the Kennesaw Grand Prix 5K series benefiting the Dave Krache Foundation, which is a nonprofit that raises money to pay for local kids in need to play the sports they love.
Warm-O-Rama
Who needs a warmup for only 3 miles?? None of these guys. The mumblechatter before the race was centered on Boucher & the M for the attempted sabotage of the 5K. Sip & Steer was both praised and cursed at the same time.
The Thang
The 5K course starts and ends in downtown Kennesaw and runs through the Swift Cantrell Park.
Circle of Trust
COT was delayed thanks to the crowning of Homewrecker, Master Chief & Barker for placing in their age groups.
Master Chief finished 1st in the 0-9 age group with a time of 24:51 (8:02)
Barker finished 2nd in the 35-39 group with a time of 22:13 (7:11)
Homewrecker finished 1st in the 40-44 group with a time of 22:25 (7:15)
Honorable mention for M.I.A. finishing 4th, Depends 5th and H20 7th in their age groups.
Naked Man Moleskin
After the long drawn out medal ceremony, those that remained met down the street for biscuits and donuts. Special thanks to Layover for babysitting and taking pictures. YHC was very impressed to see 6 M’s run the race:

Great job getting the family out for the 1st & 2nd F today. Everyone is making plans for the next race Aug 14th.
