Introduction
What better way to welcome in spring with a twist to America’s favorite pasttime. I think we all got a little excited when we thought Swedish Ham had brought his guitar for the 7th inning stretch with a rousing round of “Take me out to ballgame”, but alas no such luck. On to the BD!
Warm-O-Rama
PAX took a short mosey to the rear parking lot and circled up to continue Warm-O-Rama. YHC gave a brief disclaimer (I know, with the body of greek god its hard to believe I’m not a professional) then pressed on:

The Thang
Sticking with the baseball theme, YHC threw out a teaser. What is another name for the pitchers mound…….you guessed it, the hill. Took a brisk mosey to the hill as a way to ease into the beatdown that was in store for all of us.
PAX had to sprint to the top of the hill then bear crawl back to bottom, this equals 1 strike. Strike 1, Strike 2, Strike 3 some of the PAX circled back to pick up the six and we were out of there.
Since we struck out, next we had to take the field. Another brisk mosey to the softball fields for a little 7 of Diamonds. PAX partnered up.
Round 1 – Sprint to 1st Base, complete 7 burpees. Sprint to 2nd Base, complete 7 burpees. Sprint to 3rd Base, complete 7 burpees. Sprint Home, complete 7 burpees.
Round 2 – Increase to 14 Reps each base and replace burpees with Merkins
Round 3 – Increase to 21 Reps each base and replace Merkins with Big Boy Sit Ups
Round 4 – Increase to 28 Reps each base and replace Big Boy Sit Ups with Squats
Forgot to mention to the PAX this was a 7 round exercise. After Round 4 work you way back down to round 1 in reverse order. Many of the PAX completed the circuit (kudos fellas, very impressive). Wait….was that a QT spotting? Tough to tell with the sweat falling into my eyes – thanks for the coffee QT. Called time at 6:15. Gathered the PAX and moseyed back to the shovel flag for Name-O-Rama and COT.
Circle of Trust
PAX requested prayer for Delta Duece as he brings some bible thumping words to NMC on Sunday. Commando asked for prayers for his 19 y/o nephew who recently received his welding certification and is searching for his place post high school. Prayers for all PAX not in attendance were also brought up.
Naked Man Moleskin
YHC will be honest even though I’ve had the opportunity to lead this group of men a good number of times now, having my first F3 Q did have me more nervous than normal. We’ve got a great head of momentum built up thanks in part to the fantastic foundation that F3 Cherokee has given us, but most importantly the group of men that show up each and every morning. Thankful for your fellas and couldn’t be happier to be part of this brotherhood.
