Introduction
It’s easy to get really comfortable in life and in fitness. One way to fix that is with concrete blocks.

The Thang
Mosey to cache of coupons to retrieve 7 CBs and take along 2 micro coupons (water jugs) for the option to modify
Mosey further down the sidewalk to “bear arse hill” where one PAX noticed an out of place piece of wood that he assumed correctly was for us and asked if we needed to grab the lumber to which YHC replied to leave it there at the base of BA Hill.
Mosey on down to the roundabout where a super well lit and well groomed patch of green grass awaited us.
YHC introduced “Greta 1-2-3”
50 Blockees (cinder block burpees)
100 Dead Risers aka Lazarus aka dead lift with shoulder raise
150 Squat Press
All this was done with partner so that one PAX was doing AMRAP while the other PAX was running down the path about 100 yards and then up BA Hill. First PAX to the hill was instructed to grab the “cross” aka 2×10 and haul it up the hill. We had a little sloppy carpentry turn the original stacked lumber from 2 thick down to 1 after a rough landing at the base of BA Hill. A good rhythm developed where PAX took turns carrying the cross and sharing up versus down. Just that little extra weight made a huge difference getting up that crazy slope.
The whole group finished pretty close together and after a few short moments of holding plank we decided to finish together on the last set with more squat press.
Thoroughly exhausted at this point we dropped off the coupons back at the cache and mosey on to the shovel flag for some Mary to close out our time.
Circle of Trust
Biggest group we have had in a few weeks and it felt really good to have that kind of energy.
YHC shared about the inspiration for the workout being gaining a better appreciation for what our savior endured so many years ago when he suffered and died for our sin. Our efforts were not meant to be trite but actually to intentionally dwell on the suffering of our savior. And the efforts we used in doing a few burpees and carting cinder blocks or lumber up a hill pales in comparison to the journey he took on Good Friday morning on our behalf.
Naked Man Moleskin
Such good energy with our big crew. I really had a good time and hated it at the same time. I felt like I needed a little more practice saying cadence ready begin and that whole shpiel so I am going to work on that for sure! Love you guys thanks for the opportunity to Q
