YHC has been feeling distinctly sore this week, not painful, just creaky.
Several mornings during the week YHC has had to reinforce his decision to get up and get moving, it would be so easy to fartsack every now and then. I mean, who really NEEDS to workout 6 days a week.
But on the ride home YHC had a frank discussion with Lydia (oldest 2.0)
She asked why YHC chose the hill at the skate park, and why we did it even though the grass was wet and it was cold and uncomfortable.
Lightning struck YHC’s mind, and he KNEW the answer why we get up 6 days a week in the gloom.
Will Power is a muscle, every time you FORCE yourself to do something hard it gets just a little easier to do the next hard thing. We went to the hill, in the wet, in the cold, to have the OPPORTUNITY to force our minds to submit to our will power. So that the next time something hard comes, it’s just a little bit easier to say “YES, I CAN do that”
