The Thang

Iron Cross must fall. Last time we encountered the iron cross we were toasted from the werewolf’s. YHC thought for sure if we started out here it would be much different. Well it was different-but not much.
Task at hand was to hold the 8lb water jugs in each hand in iron cross position until you can no longer keep them up. After the iron cross falls pax were instructed to commence a bout of ten burpees then begin again with the iron cross. This routine lasts for ten minutes or until we can’t go any longer.
All pax found this quite difficult and even painful and found ourselves groaning throughout. Several modifications were made along the way including changing arm positions and dumping out half the water just to survive the routine.

Leaving the water jugs there we then mosey on to One Tree Hill’s little brother Flat Top

“Broke backwards merkin”
Bernie Sanders up the hill as fast as possible, drop and give the QIC 10 merkins, then walk back down the hill.
Funny how hard it gets to Bernie Sanders up that hill!
Mosey back to flag, and we had some extra time so we did some “sally up”
And some mary to cap it off.

Circle of Trust

Father’s Day and our current bible study (being fathered by God) has fathers and fatherhood and our Heavenly Father on the mind lately. I shared that I had an experience this weekend of not feeling worthy or deserving of the love being poured on me so lavishly by my wife and kids. I have a hard time with accepting and abiding in Gods love that he is pouring on me as well. But weekends like this chip away at the lie that I am not worthy and slowly God is building a foundation on the truth.

Naked Man Moleskin

Dude. I know it looked like a fanny pack. But dang that 12 lb weight vest kicked my butt! Feeling zonked
