Introduction
It was pouring rain and cold. YHC pulled in the parking lot and announced “grab your mat and your coffee cups we ain’t coming back.” Then headed to the pavilion not waiting for stragglers.
Warm-O-Rama
Got the blood flowing w/ SSH and Hillbillies
Then arm circles and windmills
The Thang
Grabbed a table and started dealing cards from the F3 deck. We played Texas Holdem with house rules. Each of the PAX were dealt 2 cards then we flopped 3. All pax’s did 10 reps of each card. Then we dealt the turn card and did 20 reps of that card. Finally the river card was dealt and we did 30 reps of that card. All PAX flipped their cards over and the winning hand we did 10 reps of every card in that hand.
This continued for 3 rounds each time increasing the rep count of the winning hand. The 4th round we were short on time so we switched to 5 card draw and the losers had to do 30 reps of every card in the winners hand while the victor only had to do 10.
Mr. Pink took the pot with three 7s which ended up being a Mercian bonanza!

We named our new FNG Bullfrog (Jeromiah) and distributed mad props for showing up on such a crappy morning.

YHC was asked about the past year looking back. My commitment has been to follow the advice that if you can get 1 tenth of 1% better each week you will be so far ahead next year. And in 5 years you will have progressed so far that today you can’t even imagine what it would look like. We discussed what 1/10th of 1% looks like. And we drank great coffee!
