Introduction

YHC is running a 20 mile race tonight, so he’s hoping to keep it easy today. But it’s not totally up to him…

Warm-O-Rama

Mosey down to the other end of the park to the mulch play ground area for some:

Seal Claps
SSH
Weed Pickers
Tumble Weeds
Flying arm circles forwards and backwards
Harry Rockettes

The Thang

Mosey over to the middle field and the 2.0s setup some cones to make a large squarish rectangle shape. Home base is in the middle and that’s where the deck of cards is.

Each of the 4 corners is designated an exercise and is where the exercise will be performed. The number on the card is the rep count. The suit exercise is as follows:

Heart = Merkin
Diamond = BBSU
Club = Plank Walk (reps are both ways/total reps is twice the card)
Spade = Turkish Getup (card number is rounded up to an even number and each side of the body gets half)
Face card = PAX choice of exercise for 10 reps at the home base.
Joker = 10 burpees

The 2.0’s were interested early and dominated the card flipping…until Spooner realized that if he was the first one back, he could flip and read the card. Spell Check did not like that, so there were many sprints back to the base for the honor of flipping the cards. Rubbing is racing. Elbows were bowed. Hips were checked. Feet were tripped. Faces were planted.

While the two gazelles were fighting each other for card flipping duties, Kathmandid realized that if he ran quickly to the cone and performed his exercise quickly, he could get up and back to base before the interrogation began from Cool Hand and Spider-Man. Can we go to the playground? What’s for breakfast? When are leaving? What’s a merkin? Why do we have to keep running? Kathmandid is clearly election-cycle ready with how he was able to duck and dodge all the questions.

Mayhem and YHC quietly sat back and watched the entertainment.

After a quick cone pickup in the field, a short round of Mary had the 2.0s leading us in some SSH and calf raises back at the flag.

Circle of Trust

The circle of trust was a great discussion regarding future 2nd F events and other opportunities to get more men involved.

Naked Man Moleskin

During post-BD discussion, it was confirmed that Spell Check was first back to base more times than Spooner.
