Introduction
Pull ups are one of those exercises that are near impossible to cheat on. You can either pull yourself up or you can’t. Throw in some Carl Jung and the metaphors write themselves.

The Thang
YHC set up four pull up stations on play ground, lit with glow sticks so we could find them in the dark. Attached were 50lb – 20ld resistant bands. We split into three groups and spread around three stations.
1. Kettle bell rows from push-up position using coupons to raise shoulders higher. 10 Reps
2. Feet raised decline Mercans
3. Pull ups
PAX were instructed to cycle through the 3 stations adding a pull-up every time. (Starting from 2). PAX were encouraged to keep pull up form using the bands and not switch to hanging reverse rows if it could be helped.
Back to the flag for short Mary session.
Circle of Trust

Naked Man Moleskin
Jung posited that each of us have a future self that represents the potential of what we could be. And that it manifests itself in the present by making you interesting in things. But in chasing those things you have to be whiling to be foolish while you learn to become a master. And that you should give yourself the grace to do it badly. That doing something badly is so much better than doing nothing. Whether that is knife making, a new job, or doing pull ups.
Encouraged the PAX to go do something badly.
