Introduction
Today is the first Crazy 8s 5k. To held on the last Tuesday of every month from now until forever.
Warm-O-Rama
A little light stretching at the parking lot before walking down to the 8. At the 8, Gadget gives the PAX the directions for the 3.1 miles – 2.5 circles and a run through the first parking island outside the 8.

The math is 2.5 times 8 equals 3.1

It was a fun morning as there were a lot of firsts for the PAX. Some with PRs, some with their first 5k, some at Crazy 8s for the first time.
Circle of Trust
The COT was a little jumbled with the excitement of the first 5k, an FNG, discussion of the actual race distance, etc.
Naked Man Moleskin
Today’s BD was different from most as the PAX was spread out and racing to set a fast time. No mumble chatter as everyone started fast out of the gate. With YHC as the Q for the next Crazy 8 BD, the next one will definitely not have a spread out group.
