Introduction
According to Swedish Ham, today marked the highly anticipated, long overdue VQ from YHC. YHC is hoping he made it worthwhile for all who came out in the gloom at the Grove this fine morning.

The Thang
After the brief warmup, it was time for another short mosey to the football field. YHC thought it was a bright idea to do 10 Welsh Dragons to begin the Thang, but his shoulders say otherwise. The overachievers started working their way backwards with the Welsh Dragons until the six was in. Next it was time to jump on the track for an Indian Run around and back to the flag where the coupons were waiting.
It was time for a little 123. While one team member performed the exercise, the other jogged roughly 50 yards and back. YHC decided to do 100 shoulder presses (Which YHC mistakenly called overhead presses he believes), followed by 200 squats, weighted or not, but all the pax decided to go weighted. The plan was to do 300 LBCs but time was running short and YHC had one more fun-filled activity planned to finish up. All groups got to the LBCs, but not all finished. YHC called an audible and finished up with some sprints.
Circle of Trust
YHC talked about how much it means to be a part of this group of men. Even while being out for months on end, There were multiple pax reaching out just seeing if everything was ok and if anything was needed. It’s hard to explain what it is, there is just something about this group that is different. Prayers were lifted for TwinkleToes’ niece and M who both have procedures on Wednesday and prayers for positive results. Prayers also lifted for Swedish Ham’s M that they are provided with the answers they are seeking.
Naked Man Moleskin
When YHC attended his first BD back in July of 2019, he had no idea he would still be showing up in February of 2021. He sure as heck didn’t think he would be leading a BD. YHC has seen this group grow from 1 AO and 3 days a week, to 6 AOs and 6 days a week in this time frame. That is a testament to what this group means to so many people. YHC was not overly consistent from July of 2019 to November of 2020 taking multiple hiatuses months at a time, but no matter how much YHC has wanted to settle into laziness due to these gaps, he continues to be drawn back out into the gloom. YHC is thankful for the relationships formed to this point and the leadership of others that has lead him to step out of his comfort zone and lead. Believe it or not, YHC has always liked blending in in the background not wanting to be seen or heard.
YHC is way over his quota for the week for words spoken both verbal and written(typed). Until next time.
