Naked Man Moleskin
God gives us a safe place to rest in Him. It’s not free of choice and it’s not without pain or suffering in the world, but it is safety and security resting in Him. Today the place YHC chose was between two locked gates where I new the students and teachers wouldn’t run us over. It was also a place where there were choices to be made. The exercises and sprints could be done weighted or non-weighted. There were choices for the difficulty of the sprint, up and down a hill or a flat run. In all we came back to the center. YHC believes that God calls us to stay resting in Him and stay centered in Him but that when we run and grow in our lives we have choices for different seasons of life. Sometimes we push and work hard to grow and improve. Other times we need a rest and it’s important to recognize when its’ time to push and when it’s time to rest while also remaining resting in Him. YHC ran up the hill weighted, up the hill non-weighted, flat weighted, and flat non-weighted. YHC recommends that we find where we need to push, where we need to strengthen, and where we need to rest for a season. It’s important to listen to what God is telling us in the season we’re in.
