Introduction
We started the week with the Anvil…we finished the week with the Anvil… ish
Warm-O-Rama
Mosey to the bottom of the intersection, while plenty of moaning and complaining was heard at the fact the Anvil poster came with us.
Weed Pickers 10X
Arm Circles 10X each direction
Pretzels 10X
Seal Jacks 10X
Imperial Walkers 10X
Up the hill, towards the tennis court where we started getting dejavu.
The Thang
At the tennis court parking lot, QT agreed to place some blame for what was about to happen on Rapid Fire as he was the one that brought the Anvil poster and clips.
In pairs, do a set of workouts of 55 reps each round, run to the stairs and back in between.
5 Burpees and 50 Squats
10 Merkins and 45 BBSU
15 LBCs and 40 SSH
20 Lunges and 35 American Hammers
25 Mountain Climbers and 30 second plank
QiC was not sure on how the timing worked out, and it was enough for everyone to complete the whole circuit, which led to the million dollar question… What now? And in typical F3 fashion the answer was simply “keep going”.
Drafty Kilt and QT led the way and finished two circuits, as other teams completed their second circuit as well. Rapid led planks while the six was in.
Mosey back to the flag
Circle of Trust
Starting off with a praise as Gucci’s community is celebrating Emily’s baptism tonight! Prayers are needed for all of the people who are in an uncertain financial situation due to COVID-19 and the fact that unemployment benefits expired last week. Also praying for the healthcare workers who are in the front lines, and for healing and rest for Gadget.
Naked Man Moleskin
YHC always loves to see people push themselves further than they thought possible, and that is my favorite part of coming to F3. Being in pairs was something that helps us push one another as we are not alone in the workout. There were 14 HIM that showed up and put in work during the thang, but the most rewarding part was seeing the level of commitment even on the Mosey back. Snowflake turned it on and sped up halfway to the flag; and even though he was exhausted, he did not quit and kept pushing all the way to the flag. THAT is what F3 is all about!
YHC wanted to remind the group that while we are in the middle of a pandemic and an election cycle, our identity is ultimately in Christ. We must remain rooted in His word and show leadership by listening and hearing people out, despite if we have opposing opinions and views.
