Introduction

You’ve heard of 6° of separation. today was all about 6’ of separation

Oh and 1000 reps

Warm-O-Rama

Quick mosey around upper lot. PAX gathered in a large loose circle, maintaining proper social distance
SSH IC
Weedpickers IC
Windmills IC
Imperial Squat Walkers
4 count Mercans
Shake it like a Polaroid picture

The Thang

“Keeping it 100”
This was a real grinder as promised. Over 1000 reps total, each exercise for 100 reps. Best ball – thanks be to God!
Rounds 11 and 12 were bonus rounds if we had time and energy. Which we most definitely did not.
Between each 100 reps we jogged 100 yards (from one side of upper lot to the other)
Rubicon count: Right and left each count as 1 rep for bear crawls and lunges etc (right plus left equals 2 reps)

1) Side Straddle Hop (jumping jacks)
Rapid Fire became rapid flyer
2) Jump squats (toes must leave the ground) ouch. This hurt
3) Mercans (classic push ups) QT surprised the PAX with a Quick Trip through mercanville
4) BBSU (Big Boy Sit Ups) One Ply wiped out the competition with a clean victory
5) Imperial Walkers (hands behind head, like a standing bicycle crunch) YHC thought I had this in the bag. Then I hit a wall. Wall ball best balled it
6) Lunges. Again ouch. Gadget was this you? I was oxygen deprived
7) Bear crawls. Monkey samurai wasn’t here so YHC graciously stepped into the role and finished first
8) J Lo (plank position alt hip touches). One Ply. How? Just. How?
9) Calf Raises.
10) Burpees (yep. Burpees). This one took about 10 minutes. Not bad considering what we just did right before that!

We did not earn any extra credit this morning 🙁
Maybe next time we will get to do
11) Air Press
12) Mountain Climber Cross Overs

Circle of Trust

Quick comment about the intention of the work out being to show us our burn out and how we need each other. Every exercise there was a different person who got to 100 first. and it’s just amazing how we all work better together and help each other along the way to get to our goal faster than by our selves.

We also went over the official F3 West Cobb plan for the COVID19 Pandemic situation. Including plans for Wednesday to be our official last work out for the indefinite period. We are suspending Official workouts And going into shield lock mode

Here is the official statement

F3 West Cobb will be shutting down workouts beginning Friday, 3/27. If you choose to still workout, please limit the number of men to 5 or less and follow all recommendations regarding social distancing from the CDC.

In lieu of official workouts, there will be a “Front Blast” posted on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. Men of The Forge are encouraged to complete the workout from home. We will provide accountability resources to help.

QT will be offering 2nd F gatherings via Zoom to help us stay connected. We may also do a zoom based COT after our home workouts. An isolated man is a very dangerous man. Stay connected!

Naked Man Moleskin

I’m really gonna miss the big group workouts. I hate it. But I can’t wait to see what kind of cool blessings come from this trial
