Introduction

Several weeks back YHC saw the pavilion at this AO for the first time and all kinds of inspiration was born.

Warm-O-Rama

Take coupons to the pavilion then Indian Run around the loop to warm up.

Some arm & shoulder movements to limber up while YHC explained and demoed the thang.

The Thang

3 circuits consisting of 3 exercises of high, moderate, and then light intensity (in that order).

Circuit 1:
• Modified burpees
• SSH
• Hail Mary’s

Circuit 2:
• Box jumps
• Pull-ups
• Push-ups

Circuit 3:
• Squat jumps
• Mountain climbers
• “21’s”

3 rounds total.
• Round 1: 5 reps each
• Round 2: 10 reps each
• Round 3: 15 reps each

YHC setup the giant rubber band and some rings to modify pull-ups as needed. Modified burpees are a little something YHC cocked up in his basement… Ask this crew what they thought about them some time.

Circle of Trust

Today we built on the same core exercises so that we knew exactly what was coming and had the opportunity to modify up and down accordingly. Everyone gave the best they could at a given time.

I’ve been thinking this week about why I come out in the gloom. My reason is largely to train my mind. Getting uncomfortable is good for me and helps me to keep my mind right. Without it I tend to feel more stress, more anxiety, more complacency. On today’s theme, I prefer knowing what’s next so I know how to handle the here and now… for better and for worse. In life we can’t know what’s in store for us… all we can do is give our best in the moment for that moment.

When we are uncomfortable, let us give our best and look back with no regret.

Prayers and encouragement for Ham.
Prayers and peace for Wheels’ fam.

Naked Man Moleskin

No Merlot 🙌🏻
No head injuries on the rafters 🙌🏻
For real tho, how high can Wheels jump?

We miss WallBall.
