Introduction
This was billed as a 2.0 workout and Dads were encouraged to bring them and boy did they. It was not billed as an easy workout and boy it was not.
Warm-O-Rama
YHC began the warm up with a counting pace that would have only been appropriate for a methed out humming bird learning to play the drums. It was not looking good.
The Thang
With barely any fanfare YHC sprinted off to little 5 points and the PAX moseyed along. It was a standard 5 point BD.
14 Burpees at the points.
At the center it was…
20 tuck jumps
BearCrawl half the circle
Lunge the other half
20 more tuck jumps
On to the next point.
There was lots of modifications to be had including Lowering some tuck jumps rep count, BernieSanders instead of BearCrawls and general walking.
There was even the occasional “Come on Dad! Keep up.”
Circle of Trust
YHC ended things a bit early b/c of so many new faces and naming FNGs. (Not because most were smoked)
Gentle/kind names were given the 2.0 FNGs that averaged around the age 10.
Not so kind names were assigned to the Adults.
Naked Man Moleskin
The father of YHC identity an opportunity to extend an invite to other dads to bring 2.0 for this BD. This was because of two reasons.
1. As a leader he completely trust YHC to do a good job and feels that he will provide an experience that will push, benefit others and showcase that role
2. This F3 tribe has been a team that has blessed me by providing a canvas for YHC to grow with men and closer to his father. And he just wants that so badly for any other PAX that might have a chance to have a slice of the blessings we’ve shared.
