Drafty’s 100th beat down since our launch in March. The math will be easy this morning, boys.
Warm-O-Rama
Mosey around the parking lot to the main road. Do a little Karaoke and Bernie Sanders to get that blood flowing. Circle up.

The Thang
Cones are set up 100 ft apart. Up first is our old friend Wilt Chamberlain.
Famous for scoring a hundred points in a game (among other things…), Wilt will be our 100 inspiration.
Sprint to far cone, do 100 LBC’s – lots of giggles and general merriment
Merkins until the 6 is in
Sprint back, do 100 squats – Less mumblechatter
Hand release merkins until 6 is in
Sprint back, do 100 flutter kicks (50 each leg) – Silence, partly bc of QT’s chili release.
Plank jacks until 6 is in
Sprint back, do 100 lunges (50 each leg) – Sounds of pain, at least from YHC.
Hold crab walk until 6 is in
Mosey to One Tree Hill’s next door neighbor, The Plateau.
Burp Back Mountain
Partner up – one partner does burpees at base of hill while other Bernie Sanders up the hill and runs back down 3X. Flapjack (switch) until 100 burpees are completed between the two PAX. Legs began to fail after just the second set. Lots of modifying. When finished, continue running hills until 6 is in.
10 count, mosey back to field for Quarter Pounder.
Sprint 25 yards and back, do 25 merkins
Sprint 50 yards and back, do 50 mountain climbers
Sprint 75 yards and back, do 75 shoulder taps (skipped due to time)
Sprint 100 yards and back, do 100 ssh

Circle of Trust
Count-o-rama, name-o-rama, picture for the record books. YHC shared the impact of F3 on his life. 18 months ago, YHC had no men in his life, but knew he needed them. Someone invited him to try out an early morning workout, and the rest is history. He has dozens of men he considers friends now and has deepened many of those relationships into true brotherhood. Moral of the story? Lives are changed when we get into community. Invite someone out! Not because we need more people at our AO, but because it might just be the thing that changes their life, like it did for YHC.
YHC failed to mention the physical changes that F3 has provided. Drafty’s first workout – couldn’t do a single merkin….just had to try to hold plank. Couldn’t do a burpee….had to step out and back instead of jump. Could only do four steps of a bear crawl before having to stand up. Couldn’t run a quarter mile without stopping. When my son asked me to play outside with him, I would find myself coming up with excuses to go back in because I was smoked. Everything has changed. And it’s because of this brotherhood.
Naked Man Moleskin
I don’t worship F3. I worship Jesus. And Jesus helped me understand – over the course of years – how much I needed men in my life. And He knew how out of shape I was. So as usual, He killed two birds with one stone.
F3 has changed thousands of lives. Think about how it has changed yours or how it might change yours over the course of this next year. And invite someone out….a friend, a brother, a relative, a mentor, a coach, a colleague.
P.S. If you hear about a plane having to make an emergency landing between here and Florida next week, it’s probably because QT let one fly. Goodness gracious….
