Introduction
The F3 deck of cards makes it’s first appearance this morning. It won’t be the last.
Warm-O-Rama
Last night, the weather app said it would be 61 and raining. It was 53 and dry.
Mosey over to Little Five Points via Bear Arse Hill.
Quick disclaimer, quick reminder about form.
Motivators starting at 10. All PAX were motivated upon completion.
Weed pickers 10X IC
Windmills 10X IC
The Thang
YHC knew we wouldn’t get through the whole deck, so the plan was to flip over two cards, complete whichever card was higher, then go back to the lower cards if time. Here’s what we completed (somewhat in order):
90 second plank
17 monkey humpers
25 plank jacks
19 low, slow squats
Sprint up BA hill and back
16 wide-arm merkins
100 arm circles
25 mtn. climbers
100 calf raises
25 shoulder taps
19 ranger merkins
25 Freddie Mercury’s
100 flutter kicks
18 luges
14 Carolina dry docks
100 SSH
25 merkins
25 smurf jacks (crowdpleaser)
Bernie Sanders to gate and mosey back
Lunge walk to gate
Mosey to flag
Made it through 2 choruses of “Flower” before 6:15 hit. Kathmandid was especially excited about this.
Circle of Trust
YHC reminded the PAX of the core principles of F3:
1. Free of charge
2. Open to all men
3. Held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
4. Led by men in a rotating fashion, no training needed
5. End with circle of trust
YHC also shared two quotes from the F3 deck:
“Leave no man behind….but leave no man where you find him.”
“The jester is the temptation of the flesh that hinders acceleration.”
What’s your jester?
Prayers for wisdom and guidance. Prayers for Casper’s M.
Naked Man Moleskin
Thanks to QT for taking over cadence at one point. Lots of counting this morning.
Thanks to the PAX for trusting me with counting. Math is hard.
Thanks to Wall Ball, Gadget, and Swedish Ham for helping us stay true to form….literally.
Kathmandid tried to secretly destroy the cards. Wall Ball saved them.
Thanks to the SkyQ for keeping us (and the deck) dry and energized this morning!
