Introduction
Round and round we go.
Warm-O-Rama
YHC thought he might be flying solo this morning. Then, out of the gloom, a truck rumbles up. Time to get to work with the one, the only, Spooner. Wait, you mean I have to keep up with HIM?!
Grab a coupon and mosey up toward the band lot. Stop and do:
SSH 10X IC
Weed Pickers 10X IC
Arm Circles fwd/bkwd 10X IC
Abe Vigodas 10X IC
Chinooks 10X IC
Tumbleweeds 10X IC
Mosey over to the Quirky Track for The Thang.
The Thang
Dora-style beat down today.
100 Man Makers. Partner runs the Quirky Track.
200 BBSU. Partner runs the Track with the coupon.
300 squats with coupon. Partner runs Track backwards. We did the last 100 with no coupon.
Mosey down to the lower stairs. Partner runs up and down stairs, hitting every stair while other partner does presses with coupon. Flapjack. Then do that again, this time skipping stairs. Mosey back to flag.
2 minutes of mary. Pilates, LBC’s, OnePly’s, Freddie Mercury’s fwd/bkwd, plank till 0615.
Circle of Trust
Circle theme this morning. YHC shared about an article he read recently that talked about being lost in the wilderness. The way to find your way out is to find a fixed point (constellation, landmark, etc.). Studies have shown that humans tend to walk in circles when lost. Blindfold a person, tell them to walk straight 100 yards, they end up walking in a circle.
Moral of the story……what is our “fixed point” to keep us from walking in circles in this life. What are we looking at as our guide?
Prayers and praises for Spooner’s mental health and M. Prayers for YHC’s upcoming 2.0
Naked Man Moleskin
Spooner did the Lion’s share of the work this AM.
YHC appreciates not being left all alone in the cold. The best conversations end up happening in the cold gloom. Thanks for the push Spoon!
