Introduction
On a freezing cold winter morning with the wind up a bit YHC figured the most important thing was to keep moving. YHC had not really come up with a theme for the workout yet, but the Pax took no time at all to provide me with some “content” that worked just fine…
Warm-O-Rama
Pax were chomping at the bit to get going so we could warm up so we did a nice long Mosey back to police headquarters by the tennis courts. And right there, 5 minutes in came the quote of the day…”finally, he just kept running till QT quit talking”. Here comes the action.
Warmed up with Weed Pickers, Squats, Merkins, Hillbillies and Sun Gods, then another longish mosey over to 5 points.
The Thang
Pretty standard 5 points workout, this time with 3 exercises on each arm. 10 Burpees in the center, run to the end of an arm, 20 squats, run back to center, 30 LBC’s, then move on to the next arm.
Good news, nobody is cold anymore…not much mumblechatter either (the theme is continuing to take shape).
After a quick 10 count, on to the next exercise. Pax did 11’s in the pavilion at 5 points with fence jumps and step ups on the picnic tables. Much Pax groaning about step ups being each leg…even more groaning about fence jumps being over and back for 1…
Just about made it through the full cycle, then mosey back to the flag for Mary. Quick round of American Hammers, the plank/yoga pose/plank thing Ham loves, some completely miserable plank push ups Wall Ball came up with and Werewolfs at the end.

Prayers for Andy that he will be more resilient, appreciative and patient with the Sky Q.
YHC challenged the Pax to be intentional about taking some time during this holiday season to reflect on numerous areas of their lives and make a firm decision to take some action in an area that needs work. We all have great intentions, but making a change and making a difference requires applying massive action and discipline to changing a habit or making something new happen whether it be at work, at home, in a marriage, as fathers or in our walk with the Sky Q. (Bonus points for those who work on them all!)
Naked Man Moleskin
After a little time away over the last couple of months YHC is in desperate need of the workouts to get back into shape. Also, YHC was reminded this morning how much he enjoys getting out into the gloom with the Pax. Time to quit talking now, looking forward to more action on Friday!
