Introduction

0.0 ahead due to the Anvil on Monday and Sloppy’s Most Excellent Adventure on Tuesday. Most of us need a leg break day.

The Thang

YHC passed out 25 strips of paper with a different exercise listed on each one and a number on it.

Gadget pulled #1 – Merkins. PAX performed as many merkins as possible until Gadget performed 25 merkins. YHC challenged the PAX to race to 25 and try to get there before the HIM in charge of the exercise called Halt.

Some of the exercises disappeared before being performed – both glute bridges were either blown away by the wind or quickly eaten by the PAX while YHC was face down doing some Merkins.

It was nice to see some of these exercises again – fall down pushups, bear walk outs, tuck jumps, bird dogs and a few others have been missing from the beat downs lately.

It was good to see One Ply modify as needed and head to the bathroom for his own version of squats. However, while he was away losing weight, Wheels caught Hurpees from One Ply’s pink towel. While the rest of us will be scratching from Sloppy’s Most Excellent Adventure on Tuesday, Wheels might be scratching for other reasons. The good news is that One Ply made it back in time for the Australian Snow Angels which we now know is his favorite exercise and somehow is linked to his affinity for big women.

This morning, we were all at the mercy and timing of whoever was responsible for the 25 reps of their individual exercise based on the cards that were drawn. We had to push through our own personal rep count until they were done. No matter where we are or what we are doing, it will effect someone else. Whether at work, at home, in the gloom, someone is watching, learning, picking up on our attitude, our comments, our work ethic. Someone is depending on us, someone is judging us. Make sure we are keeping the character that we want to be known for. Make sure that we are focused on the right things. Make sure that we are doing the best we can. Because someone else’s future is dependent on what we are doing at all times.
