The Thang

1,000 reps in 30 minutes (1,800 seconds – no time to waste!)

Rounds 1-4:
10 Burpees
25 Ground Zero Jumps
10 Mercans
25 Squats
20 Mountain Climbers
10 Lunges
100 Jump Rope

Round 5:
Same as above, but no more G-0 jumps or Jump Ropes

Round 6:
No more Burpees, G-0 Jumps, MC’s, or Jump Rope

Round 7:
No more Burpees, G-0 Jumps, Squats, MC’s, or Jump Rope

Round 8:
Only Mercans and Lunges

Take a look at the picture – the black is the 1,000 reps. The red was filled in after the 1,000 was finished under 30 minutes. Part of the PAX took part in Mary for the remaining time.

I hope we can repeat this challenge later in the year to track everyone’s progress. Take a minute and write down your number of reps so that you can do more next time. Keep pushing yourself this year, not just on MWF mornings, but also at work and at home. Just getting 1% better today than you did yesterday will add up over the year. I have always told my son (as encouragement for school) to do his best today and tomorrow’s best will be even better.
